![]() | A vocation to the missionary life is first and foremost a response to the challenge of the Gospel: "Go out to the whole world and proclaim the Good News ... " (Mk 16:15). It is a sobering thought to think that two thousand years after Jesus walked on the face of this earth, the majority of the world's peoples still await the proclamation of the Kingdom of God. Following in the footsteps of Saint Daniel Comboni, today some two thousand Comboni Missionary priests, brothers and lay associates continue preaching the Good News of Christ to the more disadvantaged and unfortunate in the South of our world. Leading a common life, they live in religious communities and practice the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. They are joined, year after year, by committed Catholics from many countries who take up the challenge of the missionary life and dedicate their whole lives to making Jesus Christ known and loved. Would YOU like to offer your time, your talents, your energies in the service of the Lord working for the coming of the Kingdom as a Comboni Missionary priest, brother or lay associate?
