A donation of around £20 would enable a child to go to school for one year. Hundreds of thousands of young people get their education through the mission schools run by the Comboni Missionaries. | ||||
HEALTH-CARE: building, equipping and staffing of mission Health Centres: dispensaries, Primary Health Care out-reach programmes, clinics, rural hospitals. The lives of so many people, especially young children, young mothers and elderly people depend on the health services offerered by our Missionaries. In many parts of the world, poor people cannot afford medical treatment: only the Church can help them. | ||||

WATER PROJECTS: dirty water is the primary cause of many diseases and deaths. The Comboni Missionaries invest great resources in providing clean drinking water to remote villages, school children and patients in our Health Centers. | ||||

by providing them with formal education and technical skills. Young women in Africa need to be made aware of their dignity and helped to build up in themselves self-confidence that will enable them to play their role in modern African society. | |||||
